WHAT TO EXPECT

At Stretch HQ our sessions are designed to be relaxing, supportive and completely customised to your body based on your goals, flexibility and comfort level.

First time?

If it's your first time we recommend booking a 50 minute introductory session, which includes a mobility assessment.  We will have a short conversation about your goals, lifestyle, and any areas of tightness, pain, or limited mobility. You will be guided through simple movements to assess posture, range of motion, and flexibility.

How is the session structured?

We will gently guide your body through a series of targeted stretches - doing the work for you - so you can relax and focus on your breathing, while your muscles release safely and effectively. Every stretch is tailored to your needs. Pressure, intensity, and pace are adjusted in real time based on your comfort level and feedback. Sessions may focus on full-body mobility or specific areas such as hips, back, shoulders, or legs.

Will it be painful?

We will communicate with each other throughout the session to ensure you feel safe, supported, and at ease. The stretches will lengthen your muscles and release tightness but will feel relieving rather than painful.  Everybody is different and the Intensity will depend on your comfort level.

Post - Session Guidance

After your session, you may receive simple take-home stretches, movement tips, or recommendations to help maintain your results between visits.

How will I feel afterwards?

Most clients leave feeling lighter, looser, and more mobile - often after just one session. With consistent stretching, many experience improved posture, reduced stiffness, and better overall movement. Just like a massage it's not uncommon to feel a bit of muscle soreness - do not worry, it's temporary.

How often should I get stretched?

This depends on your body, activity level, and goals. Most people benefit from one assisted stretch per week, with more frequent sessions recommended for active individuals, desk workers, or chronic tightness. Consistency delivers the best results, and your stretch therapist can recommend what’s right for you.
